The second day of the meeting of the German-speaking heads of state opened with official talks led by Alain Berset, the President of the Swiss Confederation. Among the topics discussed was the way that shared culture can further social integration and overall cultural cohesiveness.
Meanwhile, the spouses took part in their own visit to the Nietzsche House Museum in Sils/Segl Maria.

Afterward, there was a joint event at the Julier Tower that is part of the Origen Cultural Festival. The Tower, which is located at the altitude of 2300 meters, was designed to withstand winds 240 kilometers per hour, as well as avalanches.
