Princess Nora is currently on a visit to Costa Rica to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Instituto Costarricense de Enseñanza Radiofónica (ICER). The princess is a founding member and vice-president of the ICER, an educational radio station. The education programme has received financial aid from Liechtenstein since its beginning. For her work with ICER and other causes to benefit indigenous communities, Princess Nora received the Juan Mora Fernández National Order by president Laura Chinchilla.
