Grand Duke Henri Visits Science Center

On the 6th, Grand Duke Henri paid a visit to the Luxembourg Science Center, where he learned more about its focus and goals, in addition to the larger purpose of inspiring scientific and technological interests in young people. Highlights of the visit included a chance to step inside the optical scanner (pictured above) and view experiments in robotics. The Grand Duke also viewed a 1907 diesel engine that was once at the Château de Colmar-Berg and which was donated by Grand Duke Jean to the Institut Supérieur de Technologie in 1977.

A number of other fun photos at the Cour website.
