Grand Duke Henri has sent a congratulatory letter to the new President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier. Former Minister for Foreign Affairs Steinmeier assumed office yesterday. The Grand Duke congratulated him on his new position expressing that "the partnership between our countries is exemplary for good neighbourship" adding "we hope to see you and your wife soon in Luxembourg".
