Prince Philipp and Princess Theodora had their annual grandfather-granddaughter outing this past weekend when they handed out one of the prizes at the Mercedes-Benz CSI Zürich, an international horse show. Together they handed out the trophy for the best rider of the tournament to Martin Fuchs on Sunday. Prince Philipp and Princess Theodora Attend Showjumping Event

Prince Philipp and his granddaughter Princess Theodora were in Zurich, Switzerland, earlier today, where they handed out the prizes at the LGT Private Banking Challenge. The show jumping tournament is part of the Mercedes-Benz CSI Zurich. Prince Philipp and Princess Theodora already handed out the Challenge's award together last year. This year's challenge was won by Ludger Beerbaum and Zinedine. Other members of the Liechtenstein family such as Prince Philipp's wife, Princess Isabelle, or Princess Theodora's parents, Prince Alexander and Princess Astrid were likely also present for the event.

About Grandfathers and Granddaughters

Last weekend, the CSI Zürich, an international horse show, took place in (surprise, surprise) Zürich. Amongst the many events held during the course of the weekend was the LGT Private Banking Challenge and as the chairman of the board of the board of trustees of the Princely Family-owned bank, Prince Philipp was on hand to hand out the prize and it seems to me like he was accompanied by his granddaughter Princess Theodora. 

To be perfectly honest, the last part is a guess on my part as the last picture I have seen of the daughter of Prince Alexander and Princess Astrid is several years old, however, I see certain resemblances to the young girl above. It also doesn't seem like the world's most far fetched idea that a grandfather would take his nine year old granddaughter to a horse show. In addition, I have no idea who the girl next to Prince Philipp would otherwise be if not his granddaughter Princess Theodora.

Prince Philipp and his granddaughter Princess Theodora, daughter of Prince Alexander and Princess Astrid, were in Zurich, Switzerland, earlier today, where they attended and handed out the prizes at the LGT Private Banking Challenge. The show jumping tournament is part of the Mercedes-Benz CSI Zurich. The grandfather-granddaughter-duo already did the same in 2014 and 2015. This year's challenge was won by Billy Twomey from Ireland with Ardcolum Duke, ahead of Joel Kurmann on Tarzan de Thurin (Switzerland) and Maikel Van der Vleuten on VDL Groep Quatro (Netherlands).

Prince Philipp, younger brother of Prince Hans-AdamII, and his granddaughter Princess Theodora were in Zurich over the weekend where they attended the Mercedes-Benz CSI Zurich, a show jumping tournament. After handing out the prizes of the LGT Private Banking Challenge on Saturday, they honoured Pius Schwizer of Switzerland as the best rider of the tournament on Sunday.
