In trade mission news... Check Wort, the website of the cour and Businesswire for information and more pictures of Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume's recent economic mission to the United States of America which we already covered here and here.

In wedding news... Elisabeth von Einsiedel, great-granddaughter of Grand Duchess Charlotte's sister Princess Elisabeth of Luxembourg, married Ulrich Kunhardt von Schmidt at the parish church of Schönach in Bavaria. The couple already has a young son born earlier this year. Later this summer Elisabeth's sister Theresa will tie the knot with Prince François d'Orléans.

In old news... Already in early April Archduke Carl-Christian gave a lecture about his grandparents Blessed Emperor Karl of Austria and Empress Zita in Geneva. A lengthy article about it in French as well as a visual can be found here.

In new news... In a video Archduke Carl-Christian expressed his support for the French party Force Vie in the upcoming European elections. You can watch the video which was originally shown during the party's general meeting this past weekend here.

In last week's news... On Monday last week Prince Nikolaus attended a ceremonial act marking the Europe Day in Vaduz. The event commemorated the Schuman Declaration of May 9th, 1950, which included a governmental proposal by the then French Foreign Minister Robert Schuman to create a new form of organisation of states in Europe called supranational community. While Liechtenstein isn't a member of the European Union, the Principality is part of the European Economic Area. Pictures of the event are available at Volksblatt.
