Today the 15th edition of the
LGT Alpin Marathon Liechtenstein, a LGT-sponsored alpine marathon leading through the Principality, took place in Liechtenstein. Some 800 runners from 23 countries participated in the event leading up Liechtenstein's mountains. The starting pistol was fired and the victory ceremony attended by Hereditary Princess Sophie. Considering that this is a pretty big event for Liechtenstein and the Princely Family's involvement in the LGT, I wouldn't be surprised if other family members were present as well though I did not spy any of them on the visuals available at
Vaterland and on
the website of the alpine marathon.
