On February 1st, Grand Duke Henri received in audience Sir Suma Chakrabarti, who is the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The President was on a working visit to Luxembourg, during which he focused on the country's role as both a shareholder and contributor to EBRD. Additionally, the day of meetings included discussions about legal reform and gender equality in finance opportunities.
Sir Suma Chakrabarti also met with Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and Minister of Finance Pierre Gramegna. The latter also functions as the EBRD governor for Luxembourg.
