Just before Christmas, on December 22, Hereditary Prince Alois and Hereditary Princess Sophie were on hand for the official welcome-home-party for Liechtenstein swimmer Julia Hassler. Hassler recently won a bronze medal over 400m freestyle at the European Short Course Championships on Copenhagen in a new national record. It was the first time that a swimmer from the Principality has medalled at an international championship.
