On the 13th and 14th, Princess Nora attended Days 1 and 2 of the Special Olympics Winter Games. The events were held in the winter sports communities of Malbun and Steg, both in the municipality of Triesenberg. (Steg, incidentally, holds Liechtenstein's only hill for ski jumping.)
Simon Fehr took home the first place for cross-country skiing, while the three winners of alpine skiing were Sonja Hämmerle, Lukas Foser, and Joel Seiler. There was also a celebrity relay in cross-country skiing that included former Olympic competitor Markus Hasler and Minister of Sports Daniel Risch
