It looks like on the same day as the Lëtzebuerger Journal celebration, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa attended events to honor the inauguration of Ecole et du Lycée Vauban in Gasparich. Also present were Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, as well as Nathalie Loiseau, who is the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs in France.
The Ecole et du Lycée Vauban reflects the merging of two schools, the École française de Luxembourg and Lycée Vauban, which occurred in 2017. The new Ecole et du Lycée Vauban is approved by the French Ministry of Education and is also part of the French educational network abroad, which includes nearly 500 schools.
