First Day of Romanian State Visit to Luxembourg

Quick note in advance: Due to lack of time and electronics giving up on at least one member of Team Luxarazzi, we'll only cover the first day of the Romanian state visit to Luxembourg very briefly. Apologies! (We'll make up for it tomorrow...)

In short: The President of Romania Klaus Iohannis and his wife Carmen arrived in the Grand Duchy today for a two-day state visit. They were welcomed by Grand Duke Henri, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie as well as an array of ministers and other dignitaries. Grand Duchess Maria Teresa pulled out at the last minute for an undisclosed familial reason. (Here's hoping everyone is doing fine!)

The day's events included a guard of honour, meetings, the signing of the golden book, meetings and, you guessed it, meetings. And then we arrived at the most important event of the day for any tiara lover: the gala dinner. Being the sole tiara wearer at the event, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie went for the Floral Vine Leaves Tiara (or at least that's my guess, the pictures so far don't offer the best of views) and a repeated Phase Eight gown.

More tomorrow!
