What Else Went On: Ambassadors, Diplomas and More

There were a few bits and bobs going on this week that we haven't covered yet so we will conveniently put them into one post, here we go:

On Friday, Grand Duke Henri was in Geneva to present diplomas to students of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. The Grand Duke attended the university himself and also participated in an alumni reunion. More...

Also on Friday, Hereditary Prince Alois was presented with the letters of credence of two new ambassadors to the Principality, namely by Chakri Srichawana of Thailand and Mohammadreza Haji Karim Jabbari of Iran.

Likely also on Friday, Hereditary Prince Alois also hosted 41 young graduate apprentices at Schloss Vaduz. These young men and women are the highest achieving apprentice graduates of the year. They received a guided tour of the castle before being given their diplomas by the Hereditary Prince. After receiving their diplomas they had the honor of signing the castle's Golden Book. More...

Already on Wednesday, Hereditary Prince Alois presented Carl Baudenbacher with the Order of Merit of the Principality of Liechtenstein. Baudenbacher, among others, served as Liechtenstein's representative judge at the Court of Justice of the European Free Trade Association States.
