On February 11th, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie visited Arcelor-Mittal in Differdange. The company, which describes itself as "the world’s leading steel and mining company," is a member of FEDIL. and the hereditary grand ducal couple's appearance there is part of a series of visits to FEDIL organizations. These visits are arranged to showcase the company operations and demonstrate its unique contributions.
In the case of Arcelor-Mittal, the Differdange location manufactures Jumbo beams and other high performance steel products that have been used in such buildings as the Freedom Tower in New York and the financial center in Shanghai.
Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie spent about two hours touring the location with Arcelor-Mittal Chairman Michel Wurth and the company's HR Coordinator Valerie Massin.
