Radio Liechtenstein, together with the Liechtenstein Red Cross, the Caritas and a local refugee aid association, had a fundraising day this week to collect donations for a soup kitchen in the Syrian town of Aleppo giving out 6,300 meals a day. The fundraising event was supported by Hereditary Princess Sophie in her capacity as President of the Red Cross and gathered some 100,000 Swiss francs plus additional donations made directly to the Red Cross and the Caritas.
