Yesterday, Prince Hans-Adam II was among the speakers of the fifth Otto von Habsburg symposium of the Austrian branch of the Paneuropean Movement at the Palais Eschenbach in Vienna. The Fürst talked about the state in the third millenium, which is not very coincidentally also the title and topic of one of his books, and participated in a panel discussion alongside Archduke Karl, head of the Habsburg family, as well as Severin Meister, one of the grandsons of Archduke Otto, the last crown prince of Austria. This year's symposium was headlined "Subsidiarity, Souvereignity, the state and the citizen: From principles to solutions".
