Nah, not really. But it does look a little bit like that, doesn't it? Sword et al? Though he's not kneeling which speaks against a possible knighthood. So instead, the Liechtenstein branch of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs celebrated its 30th anniversary in style. On the occasion the "International Association of Gastronomy (...) bringing together enthusiasts who share the same values of
quality, fine dining, the encouragement of the culinary arts and the
pleasures of the table" (according to themselves) made Hereditary Prince Alois an honorary member of their club of food lovers yesterday.

ReplyDeleteWe have received overwhelmingly positive feedback for the inclusion of the Liechtenstein family. The majority of posts here are still about Luxembourg. Less than 1/4 of the overall posts are about Liechtenstein.
ReplyDeleteIt is also difficult for us to maintain passion and interest in just one family for so long. This blog has been around for many years now. Adding Liechtenstein into the mix gives the bloggers here something new, fresh and interesting to write/read about. There comes a point when you want to learn new things and share interesting new things that you learn. I think I can speak for other bloggers when I say that after so many years and so many entries that things just start to bleed together and you yearn for new facts (not just new events). This is one reason why the 101 has been expanded to include historic entries covering Nassau and persons predating the acquisition of Luxembourg. It gives the readers a bigger picture and gives the bloggers something to look forward to.
We appreciate your honesty. I just wish that those who aren't as interested in Liechtenstein can understand that most bloggers/website owners who focus on such a small area generally fade out in a few years. We felt we needed to do this to keep us going.
There is a lot of behind the scenes research and chatter that goes on at Luxarazzi. This isn't a decision that we took lightly. We even asked our readers for feedback on social media/forum before we implemented the change. We hope that you can either come to enjoy the additional coverage or learn to overlook it.
