On Wednesday evening, the Fédération des Hôpitaux luxembourgeois celebrated its 50th anniversary with an event at the Philharmonie in Luxembourg-Kirchberg and Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie were on hand to celebrate with them.
The hospitals federation comprises of ten hospitals, which operate a total of 2,730 beds for acute care and average-term stay, including
109 geriatric rehabilitation beds. It employs more than 9,000 staff and
doctors. Their anniversary event was used to revisit the history of the hospital sector in Luxembourg and discuss the many challenges of the future.
