All About Liechtenstein: Old News, New News, Missed News

In old news... Already on September 3, Prince Hans-Adam II welcomed Swiss artist Franz Bucher at Schloss Vaduz. Bucher presented the Prince with a painting of his and Hans-Adam liked it so much, that he asked Bucher to also paint Princess Marie. More here.

In newer news... Hereditary Prince Alois was among the guests for the launch event of the Stiftung Zukunft.li liberal think tank earlier this week, on October 19. More here.

In missed news... Hereditary Princess Sophie supports the establishment of a communal grave for so-called Sternenkinder (literally star children). Sternenkinder are children born prematurely prior to the 24th week and who weighed less than 500 gram at the time of their birtha. Her foundation will help finance the graves and burials. More here.

In really old news... Back in late September, Hereditary Prince Alois welcomed students who received their professional maturity certificate earlier this year for an audience and celebration at Schloss Vaduz. More here.
