Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie celebrated their third civil wedding anniversary with some sparkling wine, or at least with a visit to a sparkling wine producer, Caves Bernard Massard, today. The family managed company is the main producer of traditional method sparkling wines in Luxembourg. The Grevenmacher winery, that also produces still wine, was established in 1921 by Jean Bernard-Massard, a Luxembourgish winemaker who learnt his skills in the Champagne. It has been run by the Clasen family for almost 80 years.

The Hereditary Grand Duke and the Hereditary Grand Duchess were given a tour of the winery and cellars, and also tasted some of the wines. Before the royal visit, the owners Hubert Clasen and his son Antoine hosted a presentation introducing their 2014 vintage.

First pictures of the visit to the Grevenmacher winery at Wort and Tageblatt.
