Return to Nancy and Other News

Almost a year after their wedding in Nancy, Archduke Christoph and Archduchess Adélaïde will return to the capital of Lorraine. On December 14, Archduke Carl-Christian, Christoph's father, will give a lecture entitled "The Blessed Emperor and King Karl of Habsburg-Lorraine, his life and principles, sources of inspiration for the Europe of today" in Nancy. The following today there will be a pontificial mass celebrated at the Basilique Saint-Epvre and attended by the Archduke and his wife née Princess Marie-Astrid of Luxembourg as well as their third child, Archduke Christoph, and his wife, Archduchess Adélaïde, who got married at the same church late last year. During the mass, the church will receive relics of the last Austro-Hungarian Emperor who was beatified in 2004.

In Liechtenstein news, Prince Hans-Adam II was recently profiled by the Financial Times and Hereditary Princess Sophie likely attended a charity concert by Austrian music group Laguzzen at the parish church in Schaan on last Saturday. The event was held under her patronage though I could find no actual confirmation whether she was there, it, however, seems very likely.
