On Monday, a group of eleven young diplomats from Austria were received by Hereditary Prince Alois at Schloss Vaduz. This visit, the first of its kind from an Austrian group (although Swiss groups of young diplomats have already visited Liechtenstein), also included a tour of the University of Liechtenstein, the National Museum, the Liechtenstein Institute, and Hilti AG. The group met with members of the Office of Foreign Affairs and learned about Liechtenstein's economy at the Office of Economic Affairs. The visit is meant to spark ongoing interest among future leaders in the friendly diplomatic relationship between Austria and Liechtenstein.
