The 7th Luxembourg Filmprais event occurred on Saturday evening, with Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa in attendance, as well as Prime Minister Xavier Bettel. The event, which is jointly organized by d'Filmakademie and Film Fund Luxembourg, at the Grand Theatre de la Ville de Luxembourg. Eugénie Anselin and Claude Frisoni hosted the evening, while Eng Nei Zäit (Samsa Film) won for Best Luxembourg Film.

Other winners include The Light Eater for Best Animation Short Film, Black Harvest for Best Documentary, and Quenottes for Best Fiction Short Film.
