On Tuesday, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa sat in as editor-in-chief of Tageblatt, with the larger theme of microfinance but also with a focus on an active international role for women. The Grand Duchess's editorial, for example, highlights the role of women and girls in building a "culture of peace" that is "fondé sur l’éducation et le partage" ("based on education and sharing").
Tageblatt noted that she was an active participant from the beginning, and appears to have been closely involved with editorial decisions about content for the day. (Her editing work appears on Wednesday, March 16. See here for an article on microfinance.)
