Hereditary Prince Alois was the keynote speaker at the University of Liechtenstein 2016 graduation ceremony, where he praised the 150 graduates on their accomplishments and encouraged them to continue pursuing success in their chosen fields. The ceremony recognized degrees for both undergraduates and post-graduate students. The University Rector Klaus Näscher also gave the welcome address, while University Professor Dr. Stefan Güldenberg (who is also the Chair of the Senate) helped award the degrees.
