On October 4th, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa received in audience Kamal Ahmed, the president of the Asian University for Women (AUW), which he also founded in 2008 in Chittagong, Bangladesh. The Grand Duchess has become a member of the Board for AUW and spoke about the role that this university performs in providing leadership opportunities for women in Asia. AUW has received around 500 students from 15 countries since it was founded.
