Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie participated in the second day of the World Government Summit in Dubai today. They attended a FinTech session organised by the UAE Ministry of Finance, in cooperation with the International Monetary Fund, IMF.

Also on the Hereditary Grand Duke's and Hereditary Grand Duchess' agenda today was a meeting with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 5th World Government Summit in Dubai. They also exchanged pleasantries with Sheikh Abdullah stressing his country’s keenness to boost relations and co-operation with Luxembourg.
After a day and a half in Dubai,
Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie apparently moved their financial mission and the accompanying delegation to
Abu Dhabi. In the capital of the United Arab Emirates, they met with
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge
Development, and exchanged kind words about their nations' bilateral ties.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Abdul Salam Majali, former
Jordanian Prime Minister, and Jordanian Ambassador to the UAE Juma
Abdullah Al Aba.
