Hereditary Prince Alois celebrated his 50th birthday yesterday - all the best, Your Serene Highness! As the Liechtensteins tend to do, the Hereditary Prince gave several interviews marking the occasion. Volksblatt offers the first few questions (and answers, of course) of the interview freely available on their website. Unfortunately, we aren't as lucky with Vaterland. We will see if the full interviews will pop up at a later point in time.
There was no official reception for the birthday at Schloss Vaduz yesterday as Hereditary Prince Alois opted to celebrate with his family. His most expensive birthday present likely came from the Liechtenstein government though who - in accordance with the Hereditary Prince's wishes - donated 25,000 Swiss francs (about 21,000 Euros) in his name to the International Committee of the Red Cross.
