Another Visit to Nancy

Some news about some our less often featured but according to the hits of the blog most read about members of the extended Grand Ducal Family, Archduke Imre and Archduchess Kathleen... Next Saturday on February 8, the couple will visit Nancy where they will take part in an "imperial journey" organised by the association Présence du souvenir bourbonien en Lorraine. The event, which is organised in the memory of Blessed Emperor Karl of Austria and his wife, Empress Zita, will include a mass, a luncheon and a conference. Another Habsburg guest at the event will be Archduchess Isabella, Countess Czarnocki-Lucheschi, a younger sister of Prince Lorenz of Belgium.

The family of Grand Duke Jean's oldest daughter, Archduchess Marie-Astrid, as well as basically the entire Habsburg family are regular guests at events related to Blessed Emperor Karl and Empress Zita. Just prior to Christmas, six members of the family also visited Nancy. It was, in fact, a Missa Cantata in honour of Blessed Emperor Karl of Austria in Washington D.C. where Archduke Imre and his American-born wife firstly met.
