Princess Hands Over Job to Daughter-In-Law

Last night, Princess Marie and her brother-in-law Prince Nikolaus attended the general assembly of the Liechtenstein Red Cross. During the meeting, Princess Marie announced that this year's was her last general assembly as president of the Red Cross as she will retire from the position at the end of the year and hand over her daughter-in-law Hereditary Princess Sophie. Princess Marie has been the organisation's president since 1985 when she took over from her own mother-in-law, Princess Gina. Prince Nikolaus is the international representative of the Liechtenstein Red Cross and there don't seem to be any plans of him handing over his job to anyone just yet.

Vaterland and Volksblatt have pictures of the general assembly.
