Every Liechtensteiner gets invited to their Prince's home, Schloss Vaduz, at least once in their life - when they turn 18. Each year the young adults who reach majority during that year are invited to a reception with members of the Princely Family at the castle. Yesterday it was time for Liechtenstein's grand annual Jungbürgerfeier, which literally translates to young citizens celebration, yet again and so Hereditary Prince Alois and Hereditary Princess Sophie welcomed 322 young Liechtensteiners in their home. The couple's only daughter, Princess Marie-Caroline, who turned 18 on Friday was seemingly not among the guests.
A gallery with numerous visuals of the Jungbürgerfeier is available at Vaterland.
