Also on the day's agenda were visits to Paul Wurth, a Luxembourgish company with branches in Japan, as well as Rakuten and Fanuc, Japanese companies with offices in the Grand Duchy. In addition, the Hereditary Grand Duchess paid a visit to the jewellery store Uchihara which sells jewellery by Schroeder. Founded in 1877, the Bijouterie Schroeder is one of Luxembourg's oldest jewellers and purveyor to the court. Lunch was hosted by the Honorary Consul General of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg with jurisdiction over Japan, Hajime Sawabe.

Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess as well as the accompanying Ministers Etienne Schneider and François Bausch also attended a a round table discussion with the directors of the Japan Association of New Economy (JANE) and the company LINE. The day and the whole economic mission was rounded off by a reception hosted by the Luxembourgish ambassador to Japan, Béatrice Kirsch.

As (almost) always, Wort has more pictures of the day. Same goes for the cour grand-ducale.
