Yesterday, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa attended the official opening of the European Microfinance Week at the stunning Abbaye de Neumünster. The theme for this year's session is "Inclusive Finance for Excluded People – Microfinance refocusing on the underserved, unserved and vulnerable" while the topic of the opening event was "The changing perception of microfinance and the need for global policy efforts related to financial inclusion".
