The cook who will prepare the food for the wedding festivities, Léa Linster, says that the wedding is the most beautiful event of her life, better than getting her Michelin star.
Already yesterday, the Hereditary Grand Duke and Countess Stéphanie visited the cathedral to listen to the choirs practising for the big day on Saturday.
Tomorrow morning there will be a reception at the Grand Thêatre for young people given by the gouvernment. Invited are 31 old classmates of the couple, 11 persons that were born on the same day as Guillaume and 11 people that were born on the same day as Stéphanie. Plus, there will be eight couple that will also tie the knot of Friday or Saturday. Also numerous youth organisations are invited to the event.
The police is also in the final stages of preparations, 60 motorcycles will be in action on the days to come.
Meanwhile Wort has published two videos of Guillaume as a child. In the first one he plays in the gardens of the Château de Fischbach together with Félix, in the other one he makes a rocket together with Félix and Louis.
Also, a poll was published about what the Luxembourgish population thinks about the bridal couple and the monarchy in general. 76 percent of the people polled said that the Hereditary Grand Duke and Countess Stéphanie de Lannoy make a nice couple. 70 percent of respondents said that the monarchy is a good thing for Luxembourg and 62 percent opposed to the establishment of a republic.
