With little more than two weeks to go, the preperations for the wedding of the Hereditary Grand Duke and Countess Stéphanie de Lannoy are in full swing. Recently, the couple visited the Notre Dame cathedral where the two will tie the knot on October 20th. Afterwards they walked the short way from the church back to the palais and talked to some curious passer-bys. They were joined by the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess. In more official news, Grand Duke Henri welcomed a delegation of the Union of Towns and Municipalities of Luxembourg (SYVICOL) at the palace today. Consisting of 18 delegates, SYVICOL provides, among others, representation and preservation of communal interests at both national and European level.
