Earlier today, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume was present for the unveiling of a memorial for road traffic victims, both those who lost their lives and those who suffered heavy injuries. The event was organised by the Association nationale
des Victimes de la Route (AVR), a patronage of the Hereditary Grand Duke, on the occasion of the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims. In line with its name, the association supports victims of road accidents and
their families. They offer a wide range of help starting with
psychological and social support all the way to administrative support. The
AVR also tries to do prevention work by educating young drivers. Just a few days ago, the Hereditary Grand Duke and Hereditary Grand Duchess marked the 20th anniversary of the Drivers's Training Centre.
