You know you come from a seriously small country when your head of state - or his regent - invite you for a party to his home when you turn 18. That's what happened in Liechtenstein last week. Hereditary Prince Alois and Hereditary Princess Sophie welcomed exactly 300 young Liechtensteiners reaching the age of majority this year for the annual Jungbürgerfeier, or young citizen's party, to Schloss Vaduz. In his speech, Deputy Prime Minister Thomas Zwiefelhofer told the young men and women, "You are the future, make use of your democratic rights!"
