Today, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa received in audience Yoka Brandt, the Deputy Executive Director of UNICEF. The Grand Duchess is also assuming the patronage of the Luxembourg Committee for UNICEF.
Grand Duchess Maria Teresa has been an Eminent Advocate for Children since 2007, and her particular focus has been on the exploitation of children in armed combat, as well as the effects of AIDS on children.
