Sophie Opens Exhibition

Last night, Princess Sophie attended the opening of an art exhibition entitled "Half a square metre of freedom" featuring painting by prisoners from all over the world. The Hereditary Princess, who wore a dress by Diane von Furstenberg, is the patron of the special exhibition by the organisation "Art and Prison e.V.", an "international initiative by artists and art enthusiasts who have set themselves the goal of helping people behind bars with the means of art to rebuild their dignity, hope and freedom".
