Prince Félix Celebrates the Cercle Parachutiste Luxembourgeois Anniversary

On Sunday, Prince Félix accompanied the Minister of Sports (and Deputy Prime Minister) Etienne Schneider at celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of Cercle Parachutiste Luxembourgeois (CPL). Located in Noertrange, CPL has been offering skydiving and parachuting enthusiasts the opportunity to master their skills since 1965.

In 2011, the organization acquired a GA8 Airvan named Prënz Félix (named in honor of the prince himself) that is large enough to take up to 8 parachutists in the air at a time.

As long-time readers of the blog might recall, this isn't Prince Félix's first foray into the world of parachuting. In 2011 and 2012, he took the leap out of a plane -- in the former instance, taking the grand ducal chaplain Georges Vuillermoz with him.

No photos (or videos) just yet. They'll be added if they're made available.

Some photos of the anniversary fun here.
