Yesterday, Hereditary Prince Alois received attendees at a training seminar for the Moneyval Council (officially, the Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures and the Financing of Terrorism), which is part of the Council of Europe.

Currently, the Moneyval Council is holding a training seminar in Triesen. The event is focused on teaching participants about combating money laundering, especially as it relates to financing for terrorists. This particular training is considered an essential arm of larger counter-terrorism measures throughout Europe and beyond, and attendees at the seminar come from 23 different countries. Moneyval's Executive Secretary Matthias Kloth (standing four people to Alois's left in the photo above) was at the Vaduz Castle reception on Monday, along with other seminar members.

The Moneyval seminar runs from the 23rd to the 27th of November. A little more information about the seminar, as well as meeting with Hereditary Prince Alois, at Volksblatt.
