It's November and the holiday season slowly approaching. And so it's time again for the annual Red Cross Bazaar taking place at the the Halle Victor Hugo in the
Limpertsberg
district of Luxembourg City. While this used to a be an event the Grand Duchess made a priority to attend, we got to see some surprising faces for the second year in a row. While it was Princess Alexandra who visited the bazaar to tour the stands last year, it were Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie who were up to the task this afternoon.
Apart from touring all the stands, and taking home loads of things, the Hereditary Grand Duke and the Hereditary Grand Duchess also got the chance to meet Kleeschen and Houseker, who came to Luxembourg a little early this year and gifted the couple with a Boxemännchen each. (While Kleeschen and Houseker are the Luxembourgish versions of St. Nicholas and his companion in case you hadn't guessed already, a Boxemännchen is a sweet leavened dough pastry in the shape of a man.)
