Grand Duke Henri Receives Ambassadors

Some new ambassador presentations for Grand Duke Henri. Mr. Khammeung Bounteum presented his credentials as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to the Grand Duke. (No official date on this, however, so we'll have to wait to add it.) At the meeting, Mr. Bounteum expressed appreciation for the ongoing socio-economic support that Luxembourg has provided the Lao People's Democratic Republic. The new Lao ambassador to the Grand Duchy will be based out of Brussels.

Additionally, Grand Duke Henri received Deo Saran, Fiji's ambassador to the European Union, as well as the ambassador to Luxembourg (non-resident). This presentation of credentials appears have have occurred on Monday, November 9th. During their meeting, the ambassador spoke about continuing the long-standing bilateral relationship between the two countries and also discussed the economy of Fiji. A little more information here.
