Guillaume and Stéphanie Visit Companies in Contern

This morning, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie were in Contern to visit Chaux de Contern, which manufactures precast concrete, among other products. This visit is part of the ongoing series of visits organized by FEDIL, which aims to introduce the Hereditary Grand Ducal couple to learn more about member companies and explore what each company contributes to Luxembourg.

The visit included a meeting with an archeologist from Luxembourg's Centre National de Recherche Archéologique, because the remains of a Roman-era cellar were discovered on the site of Chaux de Contern's plant.

Additionally, Guillaume and Stéphanie visited e-Kenz in Contern, which identifies itself as an "IT consulting agency and hosting provider." The company specializes in cloud hosting, among other areas.
