Maria Teresa Attends the Congrès Infirmier National Opening Ceremony

Today in Kirchberg, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa attended the opening ceremony for the Congrès Infirmier National 2015. She was accompanied by the Minister of Health, Lydia Mutsch. The event, which is being held at the University of Luxembourg, also included a round table discussion entitled "The elderly person in the Luxembourg health system" and led by Professor Jean Paul Lehners who is a Professor of Global History and the UNESCO Chair in Human Rights at the University of Luxembourg.

The Congrès Infirmier National 2015 is organized in connection with the Association Nationale des Infirmiers et Infirmières Luxembourg (ANIL), of which Grand Duchess Maria Teresa has been a patron since 1991. Additionally, the Grand Duchess has been a Goodwill Ambassador for UNESCO since 1997.
