On Wednesday evening, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa attended a screening of Kapus Kondyati Goshta (translated An Unending Story), as part of the 6th Cinéma du Sud film festival. The Oscar-nominated film tells the story of four orphaned sisters in rural India who face many challenges of being female, and alone, in their traditional village.
The event has been organized by Save the Children India, Terre des Hommes Luxembourg, and Kindernothilfe Luxembourg. Following the film screening, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa attended a presentation by the organization Femmes en détresse, as well as a public debate.
